Target groups
The project will be open to young and adult Syrians as well as underprivileged Turks (unskilled, unemployed). This will not only boost the integration of the Syrian refugees into Turkish society but also create an added value for the host communities. A special focus will be given to the support of women.
The preselection for suitable candidates takes place in cooperation with the Turkish partner STAglobal. The candidates will be tested on following factors:
- Motivation,
- Prior experience in the construction sector (skills to be certified)
Within 15 days the candidates will receive a corresponding applicant profile and an individual certification offer. The selection procedure is free of charge for the participants (TN). The pretested TN will receive the suggested learning unit („module“) at the location of the vocational training facility.
